Hello everybody!
Before leaving Thailand we wanted to get a good guidebook for Laos. We couldn’t find any at the bookstores in the town, but we found Peter from Germany who has converted a couple of rooms of his home into a secomd hand book store with books in German, French Scandinavian and lots of other languages.
On my travels I have been drawing a lot, it is easy but also fun, especially because I have mostly painted for the last few years. Here is a drawing of Peter.
He was very willing to trade our used Thailand book for an equally well used Laos guide. We also picked up some novels for the long bus and boat journeys. Well worth a visit for the books and a chat.
