Make art on your iPad with Procreate art app.

 Inspiration from South-Eastern Asia.

Two years ago I was a bit stuck with my art and had no inspiration,  I had a meeting with a coach about how to get the spark back. It ended up with the conclusion that I needed to go to Bali to an “artist in residence” place I had been daydreaming about from the day I found them on Instagram.

So it made me go for a longer trip with my partner to South-Eastern Asia, for inspiration.

South-Eastern Asia is amazing and so is Bali. In Bali, I got a text from home where I was asked to be in a competition for a commission. And here some pictures from my artwork that was drawn on my Ipad on Procreate digital art app.

I like my Procreate app just as much as I like drawing pen and paper.  It is really user-friendly and easy to get started and It is great for all levels of artists. When you understand the basics it turns into so much fun! And once you are hooked and know what Procreate can do for you, it will open your art world to a whole new world of possibilities. I say Procreate is easy to like,  lots of amazing artists have created some incredible pieces of artwork with it. Using an Apple Pencil on the Ipad is like using a real pencil on paper. It is in a way easier but I  spend just as much time on a drawing.

There are two things I want to say so you understand where I am coming from and you have to make up your mind If you are going to try it or not. I am used to Adobe Photoshop and have used it for 20 years, which helps a lot to understand the app. I am also working as a teacher in an Art School for kids and teenagers and I have for two years now been teaching them how to draw and paint on the Procreate app.  Kids enjoyed learning to draw on Procreate a lot and learn fast how to make cool and fun animations, and here is one example. (see it with sound on Facebook)

The  Procreate app has a really good price! It is easy to get started but, still, to get the most out of it the first thing I did was to get a class, I took a great class at sktchy

By the way, sktchy has an app too that I love, read about the sketchy app here.

I love Procreate, Sketchy, and my Ipad but, I am not sponsored by any of them.
